Feedback to a Proposal re. what's playing locally

Dear Kathy Kit Yi Chung and others,
 
         I thought I could write a little that I knkow on what Asian
theatre is going on in Canada soon.  I am at the U  of Hawaii doing a
graduate degree in Asian Performance.  I am form Windsor Ontario and am
hoping to come back to Canada soon to do research on Asian theatre in
Canada.  Hopefully as a PHD student in Canada but there are not very much
offered in asian theatre in Canada but that is enough story.  Well,
anyways I believe this October there is going to be a 100th celebration
of Mei Lanfang in Montreal , Toronto and Ottawa.  Williamm Lau is heading
it,  He can be conntacted throught the Canada Council Dance.  It sounds
very exciting Mr Lau's teacher and also mine Madame Shen is coming from
China for the event.  She was Mr Mei youngest student.
        Next year around September 95 there is going to be a wonderful
Contempary Japanese Theatre festival by the Durmorrier World Stage at
harbour Front.  With some wonderful Japanese directors.  But that is all
that has been publiclly released, actuall guest are still a surprise.
        I have also been find out some wonderful info about Beijing
Opera Co. in Canada and Kunchu Performers and Japanese Dancers all around
the country.
        If anyone hears more or has papers they have written on Asian
theatre in Canada oor found info of Historical productions,  I would
love
to see it.  Like I said I would like to come back to Canada and do my PHD
and any info found will help the possiblity for me.  Plus, I have been
finding lots of inter5esting stuff my self so maybe we caqn swap note
