Dear Belarie,
I will not stay on the following theatre lists for long (just too much
mail to deal with . . . too time consuming . . . I received 43 messages in
one day!) but here is some information for you.
I got most of my information from a posting in June by a library and
information science student at U of Michigan, Deborah Torres. She and
another student, Martha Vander Kolk, created a great reference "Guide to
Theater Resources on the INTERNET" which is available through gopher at:
una.hh.lib.umich.edu:70/00/inetdirsstacks/theater:torresmjvk
The part before the first colon is the host machine. The rest is the
path to the resource. The final part is the resource itself. The file
is approximately 45K.
This resource guide includes many mailing lists, electronic newsgroups
and journals, gopher sites, databases, archives, etc. More stuff than
you would ever have time to read.
Now, to answer your question specifically, the lists from which the job
postings were received should be printed on each forward message.
Nevertheless, here they are:
(1) ASTR-L - American Society of Theater Research
subscription address: <listserv at vmd.cso.uiuc.edu>
(2) ATHE_NEWS ONLINE - Assoc. for Theater in HIgher Education
subscription address: <athe_news at mailer.fsu.edu>
(3) THEATRE
subscription address: <listserv at pucc.princeton.edu>
Happy exploring!
Kathy.
