invisible women

Hello everyone --
 
I am trying to compile a list of plays (esp. Canadian, esp. feminist but
not exculsively so) which deal with a central female character who is
herself absent (for most or all of the play) from the stage (or text).  I
am thinking in the line of Susan Glaspell's _Triffles_.  I can think of
_This is for You, Anna_.
 
Your suggestions of other plays would be greatly appreciated!
