2. "The Financial Position of Universities in Ontario: 1995."
This report provides information on the status of universities in Ontario,
Canada, in terms of budgetary and financial circumstances, economic impact
on the region, and enrollment trends between 1977 and 1995. It includes
comparative data contrasting funding for Ontario's universities with those
of other Canadian provinces as well as those in the United States.
Implications of current levels of funding for the future needs of the
province are discussed, and highlighted sections discuss the current levels
of tuition fees and expenditures on research among Ontario's universities.
