an electronic journal dedicated to the performance paradigm

LIMEN will be launched in the middle of 1996.  More than just a forum for
publishing academic papers, LIMEN will be an interactive forum for
knowledge exchange and debate.  In LIMEN, the way in which performance
thinkers structure and present their ideas is as much under investigation
as the field of performance itself.
 
At the interactive core of LIMEN lies the POLEMIC - the debating chamber
for the performance question.  This is the site for performance thinkers
to engage with the big questions that face performance-as-paradigm.
 
POLEMIC is already launched and comes in two flavours: a) Synchronous, in
the form of real-time MOO debates and, b) Asynchronous, in the form of
an internet mailing list.
