Beckett

Greetings.
In preparation for the upcoming Beckett Festival sponsored by the University
of Victoria Theatre Department, we are trying to find out who in the theatre
community is either writing or doing research on Beckett or who has done
productions of Beckett's plays in the last few years.  If your theatre
company or university has done a Beckett play recently, could you write to
me (rstille at nero.uvic.ca) and possibly share some of your thoughts and
experiences about performing/ directing/ designing /producing Beckett.  I am
also keenly interested to hear from those doing research and writing about
Beckett.
In addition to the presentation of a number of scholarly papers on Beckett
during the conference, we are also sponsoring the production of quite a few
of his plays.  In addition to that, we were quite excited about the
possibility of a "poster"-type session with archival photos of productions
from around the world, of course crediting the production, date, personnel,
etc.  If you have any archival photos from a recent production and would be
interested in allowing us to present them as part of the Festival, please
let me know.
If you are interested in more information on the conference, let me know and
I'll send out a list of presenters and productions.  The Festival/conference
takes place in early May in Victoria.
