A great deal has been written recently critiquing the ways in which
traditional theatre scholarship disguises the politics of the scholar and
the field. More recent works have attempted to foreground the political
and cultural agendas of the scholarship. What studies or works of
scholarship do you feel do this most successfully?
*Theatre Insight*, a journal which publishes the work of emerging
scholars, seeks contributions to a bibliography to be included in our
upcoming issue on Politics and Performance. Please send all submissions to
this bibliography to: ladycroark at mail.utexas.edu
If a potential submission cannot be sent electronically, it may be
sent by "snail-mail" to: Dept. of Theatre and Dance
ATTN: Theatre Insight

Austin, Tx 78714-9005
Thank You
