1. POSITION: Community Theatre Trainer
GHANA
RESPONSIBILITIES: To support the Suntaa Nuntaa Rural Development
Project Community by training rural extension workers to use popular
theatre in the promotion of income-generating activities for women and
environmental protection strategies.
TERM: 2 YEARS (EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 1997)
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: Certificate in the field of theatre, work
with rural groups, adult education/training; skills/training in drama,
musical instruments and environmental issues, work in Canada or in
Southern countries with social movements and community groups.

2. POSITION: Non-Formal Education Training Specialist: Bandung, Indonesia
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist in conducting needs assessment at Studio
Driya Media re training program and capacity, designing and developing
curriculum and non-formal education materials for social/development
issues in non-formal setting, conducting a strategic planning
process/workshop (5 or 10 yrs.), transferring training skills or sharing
training approaches and methodologies, and conducting participatory rural
appraisal.
TERM: 2 Years
QUALIFICATIONS: Masters degree in adult education or equivalent,
educational/curriculum design and training skills, knowledge of
participatory rural appraisal preferred.
