For those of you in the Toronto area:

SHARON POLLOCK with the assistance of the Playwrights Union of Canada
through the Canada Council Reading Program, will be at the University of
Toronto to participate in the Festival of Original Theatre and Film (FOOT)
and 2 other readings.  All events are free of charge. 

(1) The Opening Panel of the Festival of Original Theatre and Film (F€OOT
1997), along with playwrights SALLY CLARK and MICHEAL HOLLINGSWORTH.

  Time:  7 pm Wed 5 March
  Place: Robert Gill Theatre, Drama Centre, UT
         214 College St, Toronto


(2) A reading sponsored by the Dept of English, the Graduate English
Association, and the Canadian Literature Group.

   Time:  4 pm Thu 6 March
   Place: Upper Library, Massey College, UT
          4 Devonshire Place, Toronto  


(3) A reading sponsored by Theatre and Drama Studies, English, and Women's
Studies at Erindale College, University of Toronto at Mississauga.

   Time:  noon Fri 7 March
   Place: Erindale College, Mississauga

P.S....

The Festival of Original Theatre and Film (F.O.O.T.).  FOOT, 5-9 March, is
a student administered conference & arts festival at the Graduate Centre
for Study of Drama.  The day time conference papers and panel discussions
are FREE, the evening and weekend readings and performances of original
works is $6 per performance group.  The film night on Thursday 6 March is
by donation to the food bank.  The closing party/Fashion Fete will feature
a fashion show of costumes used in past productions at the Drama Centre. 
All events will take place at the Robert Gill Theatre, Graduate Drama
Centre.
