Les metteurs en scene anglo-canadiens

Bonjour a tous,

Je partage l'avis de Mme Fitzpatrick.

Voila ce qui explique en partie le GRAND succes de l'ecriture de Tompson
Highway.  Il evite a tout prix le naturalisme ou le realisme...et tant mieux.
Mais il n'est pas pas seul a le faire.

Malheureusement, pendant mon sejour a Toronto, j'avais trop souvent
l'impression que les metteur-e-s en scene montaient les textes des dramaturges
anglo-candien-ne-s pour la television, ou pour le cinema.  En effet, tout etait
trop clair...

La dramaturgie anglo-canadienne a change enormement depuis 10 ans.  Mais ou
sont les metteurs en scene pour monter ces nouveaux textes?

Voila une autre raison pour laquelle j'ai hate de voir la version francaise de
Problem Child de George F. Walker a Montreal.  La mise en scene de la version
que j'ai vue a Toronto, montee d'ailleurs par le dramaturge lui-meme,
travaillait contre une ecriture poetique, voir ludique, et surtout theatrale.
Je me sentais devant un ecran et non au theatre.
