Marketing Reasearch for Childrens Theatre Co.

Hello, my name is Brett Tarr, I am a senior at San Jose State University
and I am currently conducting research for my senior advertising course
(Advertising Campaigns 129) for a local non-profit Children's Theatre
company named the San Jose Children's Musical Theatre.  Since this project
is a competition between my group and three others in the department, the
client will not share information to our group alone.  The questions that I
have been trying to figure out is:

1) What are the annual industry sales figures for children's theatres
across the U.S. for the past five years.
2) What are the demographic and pyscographic features of frequent atttendees?
3) How much do patrons usually spend on a night at the theatre.  This
information would concern the frequent attendees, who in my opinion are
families, with 1-3 children, and live within 20 miles of the theatre.  I
would suspect that the adults are between the ages of 35-45 and are college
educated, with an annual income between $75,000 to $150,000.  I would
imagine that the children are heavily involved with activites outside of
school and are between the ages of 6 and 20.  Is this a fairly accurate
assumption, or is there something to modify?
4)  Donations and Contributions-how much is given annually to the
performing arts by local, state and the federal government.  How much is
donated by the private sector?
5) How many Children Theatre companies are in the United States?

I know that this is alot of information to ask for, but we are trying to
put the best advertising campaign book together and are anxious to win.  If
you could answer any of these questions or point me in the right direction,
I would greatly appreciate it.

P.S. I have talked with the senior analyst at the firm I work for, but they
were unsure where I could get this information since they only research the
high tech market.
