Drama Studies at the University of Toronto at Mississauga invites
applications to teach DRE 120Y: Introduction to Theatre and Drama and DRE
246S: Western Theatre from 1820 to the Present in the 1999-2000 academic
year.
DRE 120Y is the introductory academic course in the Theatre and Drama
Studies Program offered jointly by UTM and Sheridan College, and is also
open to other students as an elective. It is an introductory survey of
dramatic literature and theatre history, focusing on, but not restricted
to, the Western tradition. DRE 246S is a core course in the Specialist and Minor
programs, which surveys 19th and 20th century theatre history.
Position effective 1 September 1999. Ph.D. required.
