General news for Candrama.
In the fall semester of 1999 Memorial University of Newfoundland will host
Guillermo Verdecchia, the first playright and screenwriter to occupy the
position of writer-in-residence, a position jointly supported by the
Faculty of Arts and the Canada Council. We are very fortunate to have such
a talented writer joining us for the semester and we are all looking
forward to introducing him to the Island.
