GENERAL MANAGER

Founded in 1986, CAHOOTS THEATRE PROJECTS is a professional theatre company
dedicated to dveloping, producing and promoting new Canadian theatre and
presenting theatrical works reflective and representative of Canada;s
diverse cultural mosaic. Cahoots is seeking a GENERAL MANAGER to work on a
part-time, on-going basis, beginning in September 1999: a dynamic individual
with vision, energy, ambition, and imagination.

Reporting to the Board of Directors and working in close partnership with
the Artistic Director, the General Manager will guide the company into its
next phase of development. The successful candidate will possess a
passionate dedication to the Canadian multicultural arts community and have
strong skills in the areas of strategic and financial planning. A versatile
background in arts or events management is required (budget preparation,
accounting, marketing and publicity, as well as excellent communication and
inter-personal skills.) A second language would be a definite asset.
