Ten Best Lists

Gaetan et al.,
I have an idea; if what you're really seeking is peoples' "enthusiasms,"
why don't you -- instead of assembling the nominations into a final Ten
Best -- just post all of the lists submitted under each submitter's name?
It suits the inclusive nature of your Encyclopedia (and the Web), and that
way people can graze the lists at their leisure. We may all learn of good
plays we're unfamiliar with, and, personally, I'd love to see what
particular individuals value in playwriting.
Or, do this in addition to the Ten Best listing. (I agree with all the
demurrals so far posted regarding Ten Bests and canons, though, as one who
also works in journalism, I realize Ten Best lists aren't about to go away
anytime soon.) It would, at least, provide an interesting complement.
Regards,
Frank Moher
