U of T clown specialist

Does anyone out there know the name of the clown specialist at the U of
T who hosted (or helped to host) the Semiotics conference at the U of T
in the mid- to late-80s?  I believe his first name is Paul and he speaks
French..  I'm not sure what department he teaches in.

Does anyone have his e-mail address?
