Brock University -- Dramatic Literature. The Theatre, Dramatic Literature
and Drama in Education Programs of the Department of Fine Arts at Brock
University invite applications for a tenure-track probationary position at
the rank of Assistant Professor in Dramatic Literature.  The appointment
will commence July 1, 2000, subject to final budgetary approval. The
position may be filled by a limited term appointment.  The successful
candidate will have a Ph.D with a specialization in Dramatic Literature.
Period specialization is not important but a Canadianist would be
preferred. Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to research and have a
proven record of teaching at the university level. The appointee will be
expected to teach a range of courses, including Dramatic Literature,
Theatre History, and Critical Theory, in an undergraduate program that
integrates the practice, history and theory of theatre, as well as taking
an active part in the administration of the program. Letters of
application, including a complete curriculum vitae and copies of articles
published or submitted for publication, should be addressed to Dr. Robert
Nunn, Director, Theatre, Dramatic Literature and Drama in Education
Programs, Department of Fine Arts, Brock University, St. Catharines,

reference sent to the above address. The deadline for applications is
