Yes, many conclusions could be drawn from the details you relayed to us. I
agree indeed that the situation in complex. Yet I cannot help but think
that there is a systemic problem which is related to an at times invisible
hierarchy of values concerning disciplines. This operates within our own
discipline as well as outside it.
