Big news (and the revelation of the second surprise I promised):

We now have what we call a Partners Program where we bring to our site
various national organizations so that we can raise the profiles of both the
organization and canadiantheatre.com. The first to join was the Canadian
Association of Theatre Critics (CTCA) and you can have a look at their

their new site you can see what they do, and also  get a direct mailto link
to most of their members.

If you represent a national theatre organization and would like to discuss a
relationship/site with us, simply contact us or read the short description

Letter of the week:
"I  have been reading a little bit on your site (which, by the way, is a
wonderful resource) when the name *** caught my eye. I have seen this actor
onstage twice in the past three years and am convinced that he is the worst
actor in Canada...I am surprised to hear that *** has had any success on the
stage, and I would like to see as well a more critical view of this actor,
who is, as I have mentioned, the worst actor in Canada, and possibly beyond.
In any case, I thought I'd mention that, for what it's worth, and I
congratulate you on your otherwise quite nice website. It is nice to see
that the struggle for a Canadian voice onstage is being recorded on the
Internet as well."
