ACTR/ARTC Robert Lawrence Prize

Robert Appleford, Assistant Professor of English at the University of
Alberta, has been awarded the Robert G. Lawrence Prize for best paper by
an emerging scholar at the annual conference of the Association for
Canadian Research/Association de la recherche theatrale au Canada, held
at the University of Alberta from May 24-27, for his paper, "Red Sons in
the Sail Set: Hazards of Occupation in Floyd Favel Starr's _Lady of
Silence_ and _House of Sonya_.
