UNIVERSITY OF WINDSOR - DRAMATIC ART - LIMITED TERM POSITION

Position Description: Applications are invited for a 12-month limited-term
position in Acting/Directing for the term July 1, 2000 to June 30, 2001, at
the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor.

Currently Dramatic Art offers honours degree programs in Acting, Music
Theatre, Drama in Education and Drama, and a wide ranging subscription
season of plays through University Players that serve the community.

Responsibilities will include the teaching of courses such as Reader's
Theatre, Theatre in Contemporary Culture, Acting, Developmental
Improvisation and other areas of the candidate's expertise. The minimum
qualifications are an MA or MFA with significant theatre experience. A PhD
with significant theatre experience will be given preference. University
teaching experience is essential.

Applications will include: a letter of application, a curriculum vitae,
teaching evaluations or other evidence of successful teaching, sample
course outlines, sample of creative/scholarly activity, and three letters
of reference forwarded by the referees. To ensure full consideration,
