The Toronto Centre for the Book in association with University College
invites you to a lecture by Ramsay Cook, Editor of the _Dictionary of
Canadian Biography_, on Thursday, March 23, at 4:15, in Room 179, University
College.  The title is "Making a Modern Biographical Dictionary."  Reception
to follow.  The DCB is one of the glories (arguably the #1 glory) of
Canadian scholarship in the Humanities and an ongoing battle--but also an
