                  2001-2002 SESSIONAL POSITION AVAILABLE

Creative Arts & Critical Studies invites applications from qualified
individuals interested in teaching the following course during the Fall
2001 Session:

01-360    Principles and Practices of Arts Administration
          Structures of arts organizations.  Examination of core
          competencies as applied to arts organizations: fundraising, board
          and volunteer management, labour-management issues, program and
          publicity design, marketing and promotion computer applications
          (Saturdays: 10:00 am - 1:00 pm)

All sessional instructors are expected to ensure course continuity,
equitable and appropriate evaluation procedures and read relevant bylaws
and articles governing teaching and learning.  In addition, they are
expected to hold regularly scheduled office hours and to follow university
and school regulations.

Applications from those who have taught previously in CA&CS should be
accompanied by an updated C.V.  Applicants who have not taught previously
in CA&CA should submit a C.V. with their letter of application, and arrange
to have three letters of reference sent to the Head, CA&CS  Article
54:07(b) of the Collective Agreement also requires that all candidates
complete the University Application Form.  Finally, Article 54:08(a)
further regulates procedures for candidates who have taught in Dramatic Art
previously.
