Guy Beaulne

Dear ACTR Members:
You will be saddened to hear of the death of Guy Beaulne, who passed away
on Octoer 1. Born in Ottawa, he had a varied career, including reporter at
Le Droit, actor, stage director, radio and television producer at Radio
Canada, General Director of Le Grand Theatre de Quebec, and General
Director of Le Conservatoire d'Art dramatique de Montreal. He was also a
Member of the Order of Canada, of l'Ordre du Quebec, and of the Royal
Society of Canada, as well as an Honorary Member of ACTR.
He was, in short, "un vrai homme de theatre".
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 5 at St.
Viateur Church, at the corner of Laurier West and Bloomfield, in Outremont,
Quebec.
