Position Title: Limited Term Position - Drama in Education
The University of Windsor's School of Dramatic Art seeks applications from
dynamic and experienced drama educators for a 12 month limited term
position within the B.A. (Hons.) Program in Drama in Education to commence
July 1, 2002 at the rank of Assistant Professor. This position is subject
to final budgetary approval.
Dramatic Art at the University of Windsor is one of the oldest and best
established theatre and drama programs in the country. Our graduates have
made a mark in education and on both the world stage and in film. Currently
Dramatic Art offers honours degree programs in Acting, Music Theatre, Drama
in Education and Drama, and a wide ranging subscription season of plays
through University Players that serve the community. For further

Applicants must hold a degree in Drama/Theatre or a related area.
Applicants must have demonstrated teaching ability at the university level.
In addition, it is expected that the applicants have drama and/or theatre
experience outside of a classroom setting.
The successful candidate will be largely responsible for the delivery of
Creative Drama, Curriculum Applications, Drama/Theatre in Classroom and
Community as well as Improvisation courses within the Drama in Education
program.
