The University of Lethbridge, Faculty
of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre &
Dramatic Arts invites applications for
two nine-month term appointments at the
rank of Assistant Professor in the area
of Performance with an emphasis in
movement and acting, commencing August
15, 2003. Both appointments are subject
to Board of Governors approval. Each
term position will teach six courses
over the Fall 2003 and Spring 2004
semesters in the areas of Movement,
Improvisation, Acting and Introduction
to Theatre.
A Graduate degree and teaching
experience is preferred. Professional
theatre and/or dance experience would be
an asset.
The University aspires to hire dynamic,
energetic individuals who have
demonstrated excellence in teaching,
performance, and scholarship and have
potential to participate actively in the
development and operation of the
Department of Theatre & Dramatic Arts in
the Faculty of Fine Arts.
The Faculty of Fine Arts, housed in the
Centre for the Arts with
state-of-the-art equipment and
facilities, offers degree programs in
Music, Art, Drama, and New Media within
the liberal arts education context and
focuses on excellence in teaching and
