Hi,
I have been working very hard to learn the American accent and trying to get
rid of my Indian accent. So far, I have been very successful to make myself
clearly understood without having to repeat. There are however some vowels
and consonants that I would like to practice on a lot more.
Currently I am looking for any information with practice sentences for some
particular consonants. For example, "B" you have "Betty bought better butter..
...." and for "P" you have "Peter pepper....." and so on.
Are there any books for practicing a letter in one or more syllable words
formed as sentences? Again using the above example "B", in one syllable word,
two syllable word, three syllable word and so on. Sometimes the stressed
syllable is in the middle or end of the word.
Are there any books that give lot of sample sentences focusing only on that
particular sound?
Thank you in advance.
