The Malaspina University-College Department of Creative Writing and Journalism (Vancouver Island,
B.C.) requires a temporary part-time instructor to teach three sections of CREW 140 (Introduction
to Writing Drama) as follows:

Fall 2003: 1 section, Nanaimo campus
Spring 2004: 1 section, Nanaimo Campus
                       1 section Duncan Campus

Candidates must have substantial playwriting credits and familiarity with the writing of TV and
film scripts. Post-secondary teaching experience preferred.

Ideal candidates will also be qualified to teach CREW 340 (Advanced Screenwriting Workshop) and
CREW 440 (Writing for Radio and Television Workshop). Such candidates will have substantial
writing and production credits in Film, Radio and Television. Experience in on-line instruction
is also an asset.
