Scenic Designer

The School of Dramatic Art seeks a Scenic Designer/Scenic Artist to design
and paint the scenery for four productions, and the painting of two
additional productions in University Players' 2003/2004 season.

A proven record of design in the professional theatre and/or at the
university level and demonstrated skills in drafting and scene painting are
essential; teaching experience is desirable.  Plays in the season are:
Nurse Jane Goes to Hawaii; Mad Forest; Bedroom Farce; Twelve Angry Jurors;
Once Upon A Mattress; Escape from Happiness.

Portfolios on request only.  Applications should include: a letter of
application, including  a detailed curriculum vitae; and three current
letters of reference forwarded by the referees. To ensure full
