Subject: Proposal for a Conference in Tyrone Guthrie


Queen's University will be opening a new drama teaching space in Sept. 2004 including a studio theatre named after Sir Tyrone Guthrie who was Chancellor of the university in the early 1970s and I am hoping to host a conference devoted to Guthrie's work and theatrical legacy during the 2004-5 Academic Year. I would be eager to hear from any researchers with an interest in his work or related areas who might be able to contribute to such a conference. This is not a formal conference call. More market research. I hope that a publication would result from the conference.



I would be grateful if any SCUDD members with access to similar lists in North America could pass this message on.
