We are looking to appoint a new lecturer in our Theatre Programme. I'd be

Lectureship in Theatre
School of English, Film and Theatre
Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand

Applications are invited for a lectureship in Theatre to start no later than
1 February 2005. This is a permanent appointment, subject to a three-year
probationary period.  The appointee will be expected to teach across the
Theatre Programme's expanding range of courses from first-year to
postgraduate studies, in particular taking responsibility for papers in
Drama and Dramaturgy, and in Drama and Theory.

The appointee should have particular strengths in dramaturgy, dramatic
literature, and drama theory. Practical directing experience will be an
advantage. Applicants for the position should have a PhD, or be in the final
stages of their dissertation.
