Bonjour, Andre:

Patrick O'Neill posts the text of Thomas Cary's prologue for the opening of
the Patagonian Theatre in 1805 in his "Prologues and Epilogues as Performed
on Canadian Stages in the Eighteenth and Nineteenth Centuries" found on the
Atlantic Canada Theatre Site www.lib.unb.ca/Texts/Theatre

He lists the date of publication in the Quebec Mercury as 5 January 1805.
The prologue can be found in the table of contents under "Quebec, 9 October
1804", the date when the prologue was first performed.

Patrick may also be able to help with your most interesting discovery of the
play text The Barons in the April/May Quebec Mercury as well as with the
Maria Pinckney. Best wishes, Anton Wagner.
