Posting - Costume Studies - 4-month Sabbatical Replacement

The Department of Theatre at Dalhousie University invites applications for a
four-month appointment, for the academic year 2005-2006, at the rank of
Lecturer in the Costume Studies programme. The successful candidate will
teach the equivalent of three full credits in the first term only, in historical and
modern cutting, and costume history 1700-1950. Qualifications expected are (1)
an advanced degree and (2) appropriate professional experience. Teaching
experience at a post-secondary level and professional theatre experience are
considered assets. Salary will be commensurate with experience. The deadline
for applications is March 31, 2005. The position is subject to budgetary
approval. Applications, which should include a complete curriculum vitae, as
well as the names, addresses, and telephone numbers of three referees, should
be sent to the Chair, Department of Theatre, Dalhousie University, Halifax,
Nova Scotia, B3H 3J5. All qualified candidates are encouraged to apply;
