The Kiwanis Community Theatre Center Board of Directors
Invites applications for the position of
THEATRE MANAGER
Working in co-operation with the Technical Director, the successful
applicant will manage and promote the Kiwanis Community Theatre Centre as a
premier location for the Performing Arts in Sault Ste. Marie and Area.
Qualifications:
a.. University/College Degree in Fine or Performing Arts or related
discipline or an acceptable alternative combination of training and
experience,
b.. Technical qualifications or expertise with sound and lighting,
c.. Hands on experience with multiple aspects of theatre
presentation/production would be an asset,
d.. Financial management skills, marketing and fundraising ability,
experience with grant applications and budgeting,
e.. Strong organizational, presentation and planning skills,
f.. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines,
Personal Qualities:
a.. Energetic, enthusiastic and passionate about the promotion of the
Performing Arts in general and Theatre in particular,
b.. Excellent communication skills: written, verbal, and computer,
c.. Superior leadership ability and creative problem solving skills,
d.. Excellent interpersonal, team and consensus building skills,
Salary range: $30,000 - $36,000, commensurate with qualifications and
experience plus incentive bonuses. A portion of the basic salary will be
earned through work as a technician at the Theatre Centre.
