Hello,
I am compiling a Canadian Performance Database for the Centre for Performance Research. The aim of this database is to promote awareness, collaboration and production of Canadian work in an international network.
The Centre for Performance Research (CPR) is a multi-faceted company that acts as a hub for connecting practitioners, scholars and students from around the globe in an effort to observe, share and explore the avenues of performance. They curate workshop festivals and research seminars, host productions, publish books and journals, and hold an archive of performance books and videos. You can learn more about them at www.thecpr.org.uk
Their main focus is on experimental, multicultural, visual, physical and vocal work. Independant, Canadian Culture, new, exploratory, daring, devised, cross-border, cross-discipline, cross-field, production or process; if your company, your field of research or your independent practice fits into this list, or if you have seen someone elses work that should be included, please e-mail me at the address below.
All responses are welcome!
Thanks,
Vanessa Sabourin
