Call for nominations for the Molson Prizes in the Arts and in the Social 

Sciences and Humanities DEADLINE 1 December 2007

 

The Canada Council for the Arts and the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada are pleased to announce the opening of nominations for the 2008 Molson Prizes in the Arts and in the Social Sciences and Humanities. We invite you to submit nominations for these prestigious prizes and also solicit your kind collaboration in publicizing this call for nominations throughout your institution. The two Molson Prizes are worth $50,000 each. One is awarded annually in the arts and the other in the humanities or social sciences. The eligibility criteria and nomination procedures are posted on our website at http://www.canadacouncil.ca/prizes/molson/sg127237757005156250.htm. There is no nomination form.

Important change: Only one nominator is now required to put forth a nomination (in previous years, three nominators were required); nominations and support documentation must be postmarked no later than the deadline date, 1 December 2007.

Le Conseil des Arts du Canada et le Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada font un appel de mises en candidature pour les Prix Molson en arts et en sciences humaines pour l'année 2008. Nous vous invitons à soumettre des candidatures pour ces prix prestigieux et vous demandons aussi de bien vouloir diffuser cet appel dans votre établissement. Les deux Prix Molson sont d'une valeur de 50 000 $ chacun. Chaque année, un prix est accordé dans le domaine des arts et un autre dans le domaine des sciences humaines. Les critères d'admissibilité et les formalités de mise en candidature sont disponibles sur notre site web au http://www.canadacouncil.ca/prix/molson_fr/sg127237757005156250.htm. Il n'y a pas de formulaire de mise en candidature.
