Hello Colleagues,
Thanks to Tanya d'Anger for editing and distributing the CATR/ARTC
Newsletter, with important information on the upcoming conference at
UBC. Also thanks to Daniel Mroz for the CFHSS report. It is always
interesting to learn about the Ottawa scene. The report notes that
Frits Pannekoek spoke about open access publishing. Frits is the
President of Athabasca University, and strongly supports the concept of
open access. AU Press is funded by the Lois Hole grant for
digitalization of print resources. The late Lois Hole was the
Lieutenant Governor of Alberta, and a strong supporter of arts and
education. AU Press is now in gear, and will be launching several new
works at the Congress. It welcomes MSS on a wide variety of topics.
For more information on submission, see: http://www.aupress.ca/
I am the series editor for Canadian plays.
A bientot,
Anne Nothof
