EMOS Festival and Symposium on Theatre and Ecology

Earth Matters On Stage is delighted to announce the Winners of the 2009
Ecodrama Playwright's Festival competition.  First place ~ SONG OF
EXTINCTION by EM Lewis; Second place ~ ATOMIC FARMGIRL by C Denby Swanson.
You can see both new works at the EMOS Festival & Symposium May 21-31, at
the University of Oregon.  Scholars, artists, and activists from all over
the US, Canada and the UK will be convening to engage the intersections of
ecology, performance and community.  (see www.uoregon.edu/~ecodrama)
Keynote Speakers include Una Chaudhuri (NYU); performance artist Rachel
Rosenthal; Valerie Curtis-Newton (ACT/Hansberrry Project Seattle); and Bill
Rauch, new Artistic Director of Oregon Shakespeare Company. I have attached
