CFP: 2010 Middle Atlantic & New England Council for Canadian Studies (MANECCS) Biennial Conference

We would like to invite members of the CANDRAMA list to present their
Canadian theatre-related academic papers at the 2010 Middle Atlantic &
New England Council for Canadian Studies (MANECCS) Biennial Conference
to be held September 30-October 3, 2010, in Providence, Rhode Island.
Abstracts of 250 words should be submitted to electronically to both of
the conference co-chairs: Marsha Ann Tate, The Pennsylvania State
University (mat1 at psu.edu) AND Robert Timko, Mansfield University of
Pennsylvania (rtimko at mansfield.edu). Students of Canada at all levels of
scholarly endeavour are encouraged to participate. The deadline for
abstracts is APRIL 2, 2010. 
Also, to help offset conference participants' travel costs, MANECCS has
established the Young Scholars Grant Program. The Program will award at
least six grants of a maximum US$500 per grant to successful proposal
applicants. Completed proposals can be submitted electronically to:
mat1 at psu.edu. Electronic submissions must be received by midnight (EST),
May 1, 2010.
