Eight Men - contemporary productions

The Eye review refers to a "fake play" script, but the reviewer is actually
referring to the play Eight Men Speak, so I imagine she didn't realise we
were using this real script as the through-line for Tim Buck 2.
Here are a couple of other reviews of the first iteration of the Praxis
project at the Toronto Fringe last year:
*Tim Buck 2* This collective creation looks at the repercussions of jailing
1930s Communist party leader Tim Buck under the notorious Section 98, a
post-Winnipeg General Strike law that redefined many civil liberties as acts
of sedition. The show regularly breaks the fourth wall to involve the
audience, especially by drawing contemporary parallels and staging a final
debate on the legitimacy of suspending the rights of the few for the
supposed sake of the majority. Though the drama of the writing could be
more gripping, the performances are vibrant and committed under Michael
Wheeler’s direction.
