announcement of a new scholarly award

The Canadian Association for Theatre Research/ Association Canadienne de la Recherche Théâtrale is pleased to announce a new scholarly award, to be given out for the first time in 2011: the Patrick O'Neill Award for Best Edited Collection.

Each year at our conference, the CATR/ACRT presents scholarly awards to the best book published in the previous year in English or French (the Ann Saddlemyer Award), the best essay in English (the Richard Plant Award) and the best essay in French (the Jean-Cléo Godin Award). Joining this list will be the Patrick O'Neill Award, which will be given to the editor of the best edited collection of essays or plays.
