Visuals of Commedia?

Next fall I'm teaching a course on Design and Commedia dell'arte and am wondering if anyone has recommendations for books that could be used for the class (or for me).  Books with a focus on  the visuals of commedia: costumes, masks and (limited) props (instead of the more typical "they were stock and easily recognizable") would be ideal.
