Hi all,

I want to congratulate Louise as an eminently worthy first recipient of the Patrick O'Neill Award, but also to congratulate the association on having the wisdom to recognize editing in this way. It's a necessary and hugely important part of what we do--as Louise's volumes of Quebec Women's Plays demonstrates with her usual (well, extremely UNusual, actually) commitment and care--and it's one that is widely under-acknowledged in the academy.

Kudos to both Louise and to the executive who introduced this award.

Cheers all,

Ric
