Dear Colleagues in Canada:
Please find below the information about the MA in International Performance Research offered by the University of Warwick in collaboration with its European partner Universities (Amsterdam, Helsinki, Belgrade). The Programme is now in its forth year and it attracts the best students from all over the world. Funded in part by the EU, the MAIPR consortium offers 12 generous MA scholarships, so I would appreciate it if you could forward this announcement to your students who may be interested in applying.
Best regards,
Milija
The Erasmus MA in International Performance Research (MAIPR) is a unique course that enables graduates to answer the most critical questions being asked in the world of the arts, theatre, and performance:
· The MAIPR is a 16-month taught master’s programme delivered by four European
universities: the University of Warwick (UK); the University of Amsterdam (Netherlands); the University of Arts (Belgrade, Serbia); and the University of Helsinki (Finland)
· MAIPR students study at three of the four universities, conducting research, fieldwork and creative practice to foster advanced scholarly, curatorial and practice skills taking advantage of the facilities and world leading expertise of several universities
· The programme is taught in English across the four universities, and offers a wide-ranging curriculum taught by respected faculty and specially invited international scholars
· MAIPR fees are: € 12 000 for non-EU students; € 6 000 for EU students
· The MAIPR offers 12 Erasmus Mundus Scholarships to the best applicants:
7 at € 36 000 for ‘third-country’ (non-EU) students; 5 at € 17 000 for EU students
Application Deadlines: 3rd January 2012 for Erasmus Mundus scholarship competition entrants; 30th April 2012 for all other applicants. For more information, contact Lindzey Mullard, Warwick’s MAIPR Programme Officer, via maipr at warwick.ac.uk or go to the MAIPR website: http://www2.warwick.ac.uk/fac/arts/theatre_s/postgraduate/maipr/
