Dear Colleagues: I am hosting a Reading Week Theatre Tour to London, UK
from 17-23 February 2013. I would like to invite students from other
universities and colleges to join us on the trip. Please let your students
know if your Reading Week is during those dates.

forward a deposit of $250 U.S. via money order or bank draft, made payable
to Select Travel Service, by 9 November in order to hold your space. Other

Terms & Conditions
Standard terms and conditions.
Deposit Requirements
A deposit of $250 per student upon trip registration
a second deposit of $500 per student about 90 days prior to departure
final payment 45 days prior to departure. .
Cancellation Policy
If individual students cancel after registration, typically the
cancellation fees are as follows:
After registration:$50
Less than 90 days prior to departure $200
Less than 60 days prior to departure $500
Less than 45 days prior to departure we attempt to reclaim funds from
suppliers as best possible, but refunds cannot be guaranteed.
Single Rooms
The availability of private/single occupancy rooms is dependent upon
individual hotel properties and in some cases, where a large number
of singles is required, it may be necessary to charge a further
supplement over and above the single supplement quoted. We will
guarantee the quoted single supplement for a maximum of 20% of the
total room requirement of your program. Over and above this we
reserve the right to charge further supplements if necessary.
Baggage
When porterage of baggage is included in a program, it is based upon
a maximum of 1 piece of standard airline baggage per person.
Passengers bringing baggage in excess of this amount may incur a
surcharge. For the sake of passenger comfort, we recommend a of 1
suitcase per person plus 1 carry on per person. Please note that many
airlines do charge for checked pieces of baggage. Participants are
responsible for any charges which may be collected by the airline at
check in since it is not possible for us to prepay these on their
behalf.
Items Not Included
Our tours do not include items of a personal nature such as laundry,
room service, laundry, telephone charges or other hotel extras. All
passengers are responsible for settling any such costs incurred
before checking out of each hotel or returning home. In the event
that students do not settle such costs prior to return to the US, we
will pass the charges retroactively through to the college for
collection.
Gratuities
Select Travel tours include tips for baggage handling (when
itemized), chambermaids, and waiting staff for included meals.
Gratuities are not included to the motorcoach driver and tour guide.
These are at the participant's discretion. Select offers a guideline
of $2.00 per person per day for the guide and $1.00 per person per
day for the driver.
Drinks Policy
All breakfasts include juices, tea and coffee. Contracted lunches and
dinners include tea and coffee but unless otherwise stated do not
include mineral water, wine, beer or other alcoholic beverages.
Taxes
Our prices include all European government taxes as levied as of the
date of this proposal. In the event that additional taxes are
introduced by governing bodies or existing taxes increased, Select
Travel Service will have to pass on all such additional charges to
the booking agent or individual passengers concerned.
Insurance
Select Travel Service strongly recommends that all passengers be
adequately insured for medical expenses, baggage loss or damage and
trip cancellation or interruption. This is the responsibility of
individual tour participants. We work with Travelex for all insurance
needs and enrollment forms are available from our office.
Payments
Tour payments should be by college check and made payable to "Select
Travel Service Inc". They should be mailed to: Select Travel Service,
West 115 Century Road, Suite 330, Paramus NJ 07652. Payment may also
be made by bank transfer to the following account:

Payment is also accepted by credit card but will incur a merchant fee
of 4%.
Proprietary Rights
The concepts, treatments and production techniques detailed in this
proposal remain the exclusive property of Select Travel Service Inc
until such time we are contracted to execute them. They may not be
developed or produced by any other parties without the express
written consent of Select Travel Service Inc. Unauthorized use of the
attached materials, including, but not limited to, the solicitation
of other bids, will be considered breach of propriety, under which
this proposal has been developed and submitted.
Responsibility
If Select Travel Service (STS) has to cancel a tour or is unable to
carry out all services due to circumstances beyond our control, we
will do all possible to secure services of comparable or better
standard or refund all monies in full. STS accepts no responsibility
for loss or additional expenses incurred due to delays, changes,
omissions or errors made by our suppliers inc luding but not limited
to air, sea, ground transportation, war, weather, quarantine and
strikes. All persons working with STS will be deemed to have accepted
the conditions contained herein by submitting a booking deposit
and/or signed agreement.
