Assistant Professor -- Theatre Studies

The Department of English and Drama at the University of Toronto 
Mississauga (UTM) invites applications for a three-year limited term 
appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, starting on July 1, 2013.

Applicants must hold a PhD in Theatre and demonstrate their 
qualification to teach an introductory historical survey, contemporary 
performance theory, and special topics courses in theatre history and/or 
theory; all courses may incorporate practical workshop components. Clear 
evidence of excellence in research and teaching is required.

Duties consist of teaching undergraduate courses in the Theatre and 
Drama Studies programs at UTM, conducting research, and participating in 
department administration. Salary will be commensurate with 
qualifications and experience.
