Magnetic North Theatre Festival Spring Course at uOttawa

Dear colleagues and friends,

Some of your undergraduate students might be interested in a course that I’m offering at the University of Ottawa June 6-13 during the Magnetic North Theatre Festival:

The Magnetic North Theatre Festival takes place in Ottawa this year, and students in this
three-credit undergraduate course will explore its past, present and future during one
intense week focusing on theatre history, performance analysis, and criticism. Students
are expected to see all seven MNTF shows outside of class time (evenings and weekend)
and must show proof of purchase of a Festival Pass, which is available at a discounted
rate of $125 ($110 before May 15) for those registered in the course. Contact Dr. Kathryn
Prince (kprince at uottawa.ca) for discounted pass purchase instructions. Attendance at all
lectures and workshops during the six classroom days is also required.

If you’d like further information (to investigate the possibility of transfer credits at your institution, for instance) please feel free to get in touch with me. Undergraduate students from any institution are most welcome.
