THEATRE RESEARCH INTERNATIONAL, a major international journal published three times a year by Cambridge University Press and affiliated with the International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR),

Seeks two Book Review Editors

Candidates are invited for the positions of Book Review Editors: one for Australasia and one for the Americas. The positions will begin early in 2016, and run for a period of four years. Candidates should have a strong publication record, hold a tenure-track position at a university, and possess a wide-ranging and up-to-date knowledge of scholarly publications in theatre and performance studies. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate recent participation at conferences and colloquia.

The appointed candidates will be responsible for soliciting review copies of books on theatre and performance from publishers in their regions, and for commissioning reviews and editing copy. They will liaise with the Senior Editor of the journal, Paul Rae. One of the three book reviews editors for TRI normally serves as Senior Book Reviews Editor, responsible for collating all reviews prior to submission to the publisher, and serving as the primary point of contact for the publisher on reviews-related issues.
