[Candrama] UF Applied Theatre Summer Intensive

The Center for Arts in Medicine at the University of Florida is pleased to announce The Applied Theatre for Health Summer Intensive!

The Applied Theater for Health Summer Intensive is designed to expose students and practitioners interested in learning how
theatre can be used to address social and health issues within community and health care settings. Led by Arts in Medicine faculty, and special guest artist, Ann Kinnebrew with Ignite Applied Theatre, the intensive will feature hands-on training and applied improvisational theatre training from Chicago's Second City Training Center.

Course participants will chose to work with patient groups in the hospital and in community settings to develop and deliver original theatre workshops and/or an original play.  In addition to theatre work, there will be grant writing workshops and sessions with leading Arts in Medicine practitioners.

Dates: July 10-21
Early bird fees available until May 7.
