Robin,

I recommend a book on that very topic (and more): Nicole Nolette, Jouer la traduction: Theatre et heterolinguisme au Canada francophone. University of Ottawa Press 2015

?Hi Robin,

I think that Madeleine Blais-Dahlem's play, *La Maculee* does some of that.

Dear Colleagues,

A colleague has asked me about what Canadian plays are out there in which one character speaks French and another English and, perhaps, they speak to each other, but not in the others' language. I'd be happy to receive examples directly at rwhit at stu.ca<mailto:rwhit at stu.ca>. (I could repost responses if others are interested.)

Cheers!
Robin.
